Godtrust is a concept that goes beyond mere belief or reliance. It involves a complete surrender and reliance on God, knowing that He is faithful and will fulfill His promises. According to the biblical definition, trust means putting aside our own understanding and leaning on God’s wisdom and guidance. Here are some ways in which God trusts us:
God Has Given Us A Soul: God created every living creature, but only with mankind did He breathe into us the “breath of life.” Man is unique in possessing a soul, made in the “image of God.” Our souls are eternal, and God entrusts us to care for them so they may return to
Him for eternity.
God Trusts Us with the Gospel: In His wisdom, God has entrusted the Gospel to mankind. Fragile jars of clay hold this truth. As stewards, we are entrusted with sharing the gospel with every willing soul.
God Trusts Us with Talents and Abilities: Each of us possesses a unique set of talents and abilities. These natural gifts are meant to be used for God’s work. Just as the parable of talents teaches, we must use what we have wisely.
God Gives Us Health: While we cannot control all health conditions, we are responsible for our bodies. A healthy body serves the Lord better than a sickly one. Our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, and we should care for them accordingly.
God Trusts Us with Possessions: Everything we possess comes from God. Whether it’s wealth, skills, or opportunities, we are entrusted to use these blessings wisely. As people hunger for truth and sustenance, let us prioritize eternal matters over material possessions.
